The Library Installer is an integrated, scalable library within the SWOOD CAD/CAM solution. It allows users to quickly access and insert ready-to-use components into their 3D projects: cabinets, drawers, hinges, shelves, runners… everything in just a few clicks away.
The Library Installer is regularly updated with the latest products from leading manufacturers, allowing users to update their existing library items and download the most recent component versions at any time.

Each component available in the Library Installer comes with predefined machining operations, ensuring seamless compatibility with CAD and CAM processes. This reduces manual adjustments, minimizes potential errors, and streamlines the transition from design to production.

How to use this drawer system in your woodworking projects?
Opening the Library Installer gives you access to all available components. Use the interface’s filter to find ‘VERTEX’, then click on download. When you return to the SWOOD interface, your library will be updated with the newly downloaded components and ready for use.
The most suitable configuration is automatically applied when the drawer is inserted into your model. All available options and component specifications are included, allowing you to manually adjust parameters as needed (color, material, dimensions, product reference…, etc.).
As a fully parametric solution, any change made to the model, such as dimensions, front panel size, or number of drawers, automatically updates the components and machining operations.
Thanks to this intelligent parametric feature, your projects are more reliable, faster to implement, and fully compliant with Emuca’s technical recommendations.
At the final stage of the design process, SWOOD’s reporting function gathers all technical information, including materials, product references, and quantities used, making production preparation more efficient and accurate.
