SWOOD is launching its first 3D design challenge where you can display your creativity to design any furniture in your living room!
The challenge
The challenge will begin on March 14 and will end on April 25, 2022.
The theme: “Design customized furniture for your living room”
We invite you to design from scratch a 3D CAD project by using SOLIDWORKS and SWOOD Design software.
How to participate
Design
Design your furniture by using the features of SOLIDWORKS and SWOOD Design software.
The choosen cabinet has to be integrated into a living-room. Some ideas: bookshelf, shelf, table, TV cabinet, etc.
Let your imagination run free to design a complete and innovative project!
Expected renderings
Two types of required deliverables:
- Layout files as .png, .jpeg or .pdf formats
- Realistic renderings via SOLIDWORKS Visualize for example as .png, .jpeg or .pdf AND .svpj formats
Inscription and submission
Register by adding your details and submit your complete project by using a specific name for your files: companyname_yourname_projectname.
Post the final rendering on LinkedIn and tag @swoodbyeficad.

Evaluation criteria
Our jury composed of 3 SWOOD experts will assess each project regarding the following criteria:
- Use of SOLIDWORKS and SWOOD Design software
- Relevance to the theme
- Quality of the design
- Originality
- Quality of the deliverables
