Event Description
June 11th: A full‑day immersion in connected woodworking, demonstrating how SWOOD and Biesse create a continuous digital flow from design to finished product, with live machine demos and interactive workshops. It combines high‑level workflow insights with hands‑on sessions where attendees design, program, and run parts on real equipment.
June 12th: An on-demand day tailored for companies that want to go deeper into the digital manufacturing workflow. Our teams will be available to demonstrate and discuss our solutions tailored to your parts, projects, or needs. Please specify your interest in participating on the second day when registering for the event.

DAY 1: 11th June 2026
Morning – Understand the End-to-End Workflow (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
9:00 – 10:00 | Welcome & Introduction
- Overview of the day’s objective: connecting digital data from SWOOD to Biesse machines, from Winstore storage to final assembly.
- Typical factory workflow: order → design → preparation → production → assembly.
- How SWOOD structures and sends production data to Biesse (labels, tooling, machining, nesting, 5-axis, options, etc.).
10:00 – 12:30 | Showroom tour
- Panel Handling & Cutting
- Machining, 5-Axis & Machine Options
12:30 – 1:30 | Lunch & Open Showroom Time
- Lunch on site and free time to walk the showroom with Biesse and SWOOD experts.
Afternoon – Do It Yourself: Hands-On with SWOOD & Biesse (1:30 PM – 5:00 PM)
1:30 – 3:15 | Hands-On SWOOD Sessions (Small Groups)
- Guided exercises on SWOOD: simple cabinets, closets or small parts.
- Focus on : Ease of use and “wood-centric” logic, automatic generation of machining data for Biesse machines (nesting, beams & pods, 5-axis, options), Bsolid Machine Simulation
3:15 – 4:30 | From SWOOD to the Machines – Live Production
- Select some of the projects created during the workshop.
- Send them to the showroom machines
- Live demos to show: no re-entry of data, direct link from SWOOD to Biesse.
- Downstream Processes: Edgebanding & Assembly
4:30 – 5:00 | Wrap-Up & Q&A
- Open Q&A session.
- Summary of key benefits: fewer errors, less rework, better material usage, higher productivity.
